Greater Mercer RideProvide is a community-based, nonprofit transportation service for seniors 65 and over and visually impaired adults residing in Mercer County, Plainsboro, and the southern portion of Montgomery, New Jersey. Alcohol & Drug Use PreventionMonday, February 10, 7:00 p.m. Presented by Darlene Andes (Mercer County Division of Public Health). This program will provide information and education on the risks associated with excessive alcohol use, including binge drinking and education on drug addiction, particularly opioid addiction, and opioid overdose prevention. The 2018 Mercer County Community Health Assessment (CHA) carried out by the Greater Mercer Public Health Partnership (GMPHP) noted alcoholism as an area for concern in Mercer County.
