Investigating the Invader: Spotted Lanternfly Lecture

You may have heard about the spotted lanterfly, an invasive and destructive insect that has been popping up in Mercer County and around the state. Join Mercer County Park Commission Senior Land Steward, Jillian Stark, to investigate the spotted lanternfly's life history and impact, exploring the latest information from the New Jersey Department of Agriculture's Insect Lab. Learn what is being done to mitigate the damage done by this pest and what you can do in your own backyard to defend against it. This program is suitable for children 10 and older.
