Leap into Science is a nationwide program from the Franklin Institute Science Museum that integrates open-ended science activities with children's books for families to learn together. An Afternoon at the Movies Brooklyn Thursday, March 12 @ 1:30 p.m. Rated PG-13, 117 min. Starring: Saoirse Ronan An Irish immigrant lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a romance with a local. When her past catches up with her she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within. Downton Abbey Thursday, March 26 @ 1:30 p.m. Rated PG, 122 min. Starring: Michelle Dockery, Phyllis Logan, Allen Leech, and Maggie Smith The Crawley family prepares for an official royal visit to their family house in Yorkshire in 1927. Registration for the following programs began on Monday, Feb. 24: - Little Explorers - children ages 3 to 5, accompanied by an adult, are invited to join us for hands-on science activities. This class will meet on Mondays at 2 pm or Wednesdays at 11 am.
- Storytime - children, ages 2 to 5 accompanied by an adult, will enjoy stories, songs, and crafts. This half hour program will be held on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, Wednesdays at 10:00 am, or Thursdays at 10:00 am.
