Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori – Māori Language Week
Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori – Māori Language Week celebrates te reo Māori. It goes from 21 Hōngongoi – 27 Hōngongoi 2014 (21 to 27 July) and the theme is “Te Kupu o te Wiki – The Word of the Week”.
There is a Te wiki o te reo seminar: Kupu Wāhi (place names) at Linwood Library at Eastgate on Thursday 24 July. Presenter Takarei Norton will explore the gathering of cultural information of the landscape from iwi sources. Explore our Te Reo resources.

The Source
What is the Source? It includes essential guides and research tools like encyclopedias and dictionaries, online newspapers, music, video, audiobooks and e-books. The library subscribes to these online resources so that you can access them for free. All you need is your library card number and PIN.
