Myra Fiacco, owner and editorial director of Filles Vertes Publishing and author of Using Curse Words, will walk you through what she looks for in author queries and pitches. Learn the tricks to make sure you’re pitch perfect and get all the quirks out of your queries.

English Language Classes (Written Word) Tuesday, March 12th, 5:00 pm Practice reading with a community of learners who are learning to speak and read the English language. Participants will work on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation while reading aloud.

Post Falls Job Prep Fair: Applications, Résumés, and Interview Tips Thursday, March 28, 1:00 - 2:30 pm Join the Idaho Department of Labor as they explain the ins and outs of a good résumé and how to properly fill out an application to get you in the door for an interview. Then find out what interviewers look for when you sit down across the table to talk about your past experience. It’s a good idea to keep your skills up to date, regardless of if you already have a job or are looking for one.

Hiring professionals from Express Employment Professionals and Lowe’s are here to do practice interviews. Sit down in a no-pressure situation and do a practice interview. Then those professionals will cover what you did well and where you may want to think about improving. Get the feedback that you won’t get anywhere else to help improve your chances of landing your dream job.

The most popular vines consist of people trying to be funny. Join a team to make your own Vines! Create hysterical video clips to show friends! Equipment and props will be provided. Indulge their growing minds at Little Renaissance Kids storytime where we'll read one story together, then spend the rest of the time independently exploring weekly topics from the world of fine art, math & science, world cultures, and active play.
