Ta-Nehisi Coates’ controversial best-seller “Between the World and Me” is the selection for Sonoma County Reads this fall, with a series of events scheduled from September 26 through December 16. Sonoma County Reads is a county-wide reading program, in which all who live in Sonoma County are encouraged to read the same book in order to foster community and awareness of reading.

Fall Symphony Performances at the Library Starting Saturday, September 17, at 12:30 (Central Santa Rosa Library) and 2:00pm (Northwest Santa Rosa Library) In Autumn of 2016, the Santa Rosa Symphony will be performing eight ensemble performances as part of the collaboration between the Sonoma County Library and the Santa Rosa Symphony. These performances have truly been an incredible opportunity for audiences of all ages to learn about and enjoy the beauty of classical music.
