Divergent Giveaway for Teens!The Divergent series follows Tris, a young girl coming of age in a futuristic dystopian society where your future is determined by which faction you choose. There is the Abnegation who are selfless, the Dauntless known for their bravery, the Erudite who seek only truth, Amity the peaceful and Candor who believe honesty is most important. But there is another choice which embodies two or more of the factions and is thought to be taboo in Tris’s world. Tris is Divergent. What Faction would fit you the best? Take our Divergent Quiz. Learn what you know about the Factions. The winner will receive a new copy of the Divergent DVD! Take the quiz as many times as you'd like. We'll choose one winner, at random, in August after the release of the Divergent DVD. Contest is open to anyone 11-17.

Anime Marathon Celebrate summer with an all-afternoon anime marathon from 12-30-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 9 at the Bethel Branch Library. Cincinnati Pops' Performance!Join us for a visit from the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra on Saturday, July 12 at the Union Township Branch. We'll have music themed crafts and activities for the entire family at 1:00p.m. The concert will start at 2:00p.m. Pop-tet is a dynamic rhythm ensemble. They'll perform a variety of great American music from pops, gospel and jazz to bluegrass and R&B. All ages will enjoy this refreshingly diverse sound of pop culture music. Beginning Crochet ClassIf you're interested in learning how to crochet, long time teacher, Pat Wesswein will start teaching a class for beginners at the Union Township Branch on Monday, July 28. Classes will continue to meet the last Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Attendees ages 12-adult should bring 4-ply yarn and a size "H" crochet hook to class.
