Pie Crust TipsLearn how to make a good pie crust at the Williamsburg Branch on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Pie making is a skill passed down from generation to generation. The secret of most of those family recipes starts with the crust. A perfect pastry pie crust is a work of art and Cindy Mahaffey will demonstrate how to become a pie crust artisan just in time for Thanksgiving. Her technique was passed down from her grandmother and she will happily share her secrets. She'll also have samples to try! Call the branch at 724-1070 for more information.

Beginning Crochet ClassIf you're interested in learning how to crochet, long time teacher, Pat Wesswein will teach a class for beginners at the Union Township Branch on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. Attendees ages 12-adult should bring 4-ply yarn and a size "H" crochet hook to class. Quilting Basics ClassLearn the basics of quilting at the Amelia Branch on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. Instructor Laura Osborn-Coffey will teach attendees how to make a tr4aditional quilt block. Beginning Crochet Class Union Twp. BranchMonday, Nov. 24, 6:30-8 p.m. Attendees ages 12-adult bring your 4-ply yarn and a size "H" crochet hook to class.
