Crafter Dark: DIY Magnetic Poetry Create a literary masterpiece - for your fridge! Create your own magnetic poetry at the Union Township Branch on Monday, Feb. 2, 6 p.m. We'll supply the magnetic paper, word prompts and an innovative atmosphere for you to write. Arm Knit a Scarf Join crafter and instructor Lori Blevins as she leads an arm-knitting class at the Amelia Branch on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 6 p.m. The act of arm knitting produces the cool, chunky look that is popular fashion. You’ll learn all the skills you’ll need to make your own scarf. All materials are provided, and no prior knowledge of knitting is necessary to attend. .Crochet @ the Library Crochet at the library! Several of our branches are offering crochet classes. Work on your own project or learn a new stitch. Whether an expert or novice, everyone is welcome! Create projects to wear or display at the Goshen Branch on Mondays in Feb. at 6 p.m.. Bring a hook with you. Our Union Township Branch offers a class on Thursday, Feb. 12, 10 a.m. Pat Esswein, a long-time instructor will focus on basic crochet stitches. The library will have an assortment of yarn available but bring your own 4-ply yarn if you'd like to work with a specific color. Participants will need to bring their own crochet “H” hook.
