Turn Spinach into a Photo! Monday, Aug. 3, 6:30 p.m. Turn Spinach Into a Photo will start at 6:30 p.m., Monday, August 3 at the Amelia Branch Library, 58 Maple Street. Make an unusual photo! Learn how to make an all-natural, safe and earth-friendly photograph. Please bring a leaf or flat paper cut-out to make an image. Summer of Herbs Monday, Aug. 3, 6:00-7:45 p.m. Join us for a Summer of Herbs, an informative monthly program on Monday, August 3 from 6-7:45 p.m. at the Goshen Branch Library, 6678 State Route 132. Margaret will go over basic safety of canning, water bath vs. pressure canning. Find out resources and recipes for canning, pickling, preserving, and freezing a variety of fruits and vegetables. Seed Saving 101 with Master Gardener Volunteers Tuesday, Aug. 18, 6-7:30 p.m. Seed Saving 101 starts at 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 18 at the New Richmond Branch Library, 103 River Valley Boulevard. OSU Extension-Clermont County Master Gardener Volunteers will teach you the basics of seed saving. Harvesting and storing the seeds to use next year not only saves money, it can help retain a plants pest resistance. Q&A session will follow.
