Toy Car Races Race into the library! Race die-cast cars and then participate in a car show at the New Richmond Branch on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 3-4 p.m. Bring three cars of any brand and style. Your fastest car can race on a four-lane Hot Wheels track. Your best looking car can be entered to win the People's Choice award. Join the fun! This program is for ages 3-8. Got a lot of candy? Instead of eating it all, learn some fun science experiments using sweet treats at the Bethel Branch on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Can you make a marshmallow sink? Sandwich Feast Have some fun with sandwiches! Join in the fun of all things sandwich in honor of Sandwich Day at the Union Township Branch on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 6:45 p.m. We'll share stories, songs and rhymes with items that make a sandwich. You will be able create our own unique make believe sandwich. Let's be creative! This program is for all ages. Discover Space Join our Discovery Club this month to explore life in space at the Union Township Branch on Friday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. Learn what it takes to be an astronaut and what life is like on the International Space Station. Try your hand at making astronaut food. Explore how gravity affects our world! This program is for ages 6-12. Digging It Join us for a night of discovery at the Williamsburg Branch Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6-7 p.m. Dayna Reale will talk about her work as an archaeologist. Explore the archaelogy of the American desert west and the Ohio River Valley. Learn about life in the prehistoric past and discover where and how the ancients lived and what they ate. Tea and Dance Party Join us for a party at the Owensville Branch Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 6:30 p.m. We will celebrate this year's "Doll of the Year" by making our very own tutus and having tea and cookies. Bring your doll and have fun dancing around with her in your new tutu. This event is for ages 3-14. TLC: Tween Literature Club
New Richmond Branch Tuesday, Nov. 4, 6:30 p.m. Attendees ages 10-12 meet the first Tuesday of each month during the school year for TLC [Tween Literature Club].
