Monday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday:                    9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday:              10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday:                 Closed
 
The building remains closed to the public, but phones are staffed and librarians are available to answer reference questions and place books on hold.
 
Our digital library is  available 24/7 at http://www.monroetwplibrary.org/databases/.
 
Curbside pickup service is available by appointment at the Drive-Thru Window.

1. Request materials online or by phone.
2. Wait for notification that your item(s) are available.
3. Make an appointment for pickup.
4. Drive up to the window at your appointment time.

COVID Vaccine Information

Book Returns
  • The book drops at the Library's Drive-Thru Window and in the parking lot of the Senior Center are open.
  • You may return your library materials to either location at any time.
  • Books and magazines will be quarantined for 4 days prior to check-in.
  • DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks and video games will be quarantined for 7 days prior to check-in.
  • Please allow up to a week for materials to be removed from your record.
  • Overdue fines will be waived at this time.
  • The book drop at the Community Rec Center remains closed.

We are unable to accept material donations of books, DVDs or music CDs until further notice. Thank you!

We offer a robust line-up of virtual programs for adults, children and teens via Zoom. The East Brunswick Public Library is a recipient of the Women's Suffrage & Beyond Program Award from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities. This award supports work to commemorate and interrogate the passage of the 19th Amendment granting women’s suffrage in 1920 and its legacy one hundred years later. Their community partners are the East Brunswick Human Relations Council, East Brunswick Womens Club, Milltown Public Library, the Monroe Public Library, and the Spotswood Public Library. Additional funding is provided by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library.
 
EBPL will hold 3 programs in Winter & Spring 2021 as part of their, "Women and the Right to Vote: Then and Now."

Holiday Hours
Take and Make Craft Kits
Take and Make Craft Kits for adults and children are available at the Drive-Thru Window. No prior reservation is necessary. Simply drive up to the window during curbside service hours and request a kit.
All kits are available while supplies last. We are always adding new crafts. Here are examples of some upcoming kits.
