A Month In Review

From captivating events that unleashed creativity to enlightening discussions that broadened knowledge, your library was a vibrant haven of community engagement throughout May.

We were lucky to pamper our patrons with a rejuvenating "Ladies Night Out" at the Southwest Branch. Attendees indulged in mini-manicures, relaxing hand and arm massages, and tried new hairstyles thanks to the Warren County Technical School Cosmetology Department. It was an evening of pure bliss and self-care—a well-deserved treat for our hardworking community.

Over at the Catherine Dickson Hofman Branch the gazebo and grounds came alive with music and laughter during the unforgettable concert with Moss Henry & The Bryophytes. Families and friends gathered to enjoy toe-tapping tunes, beautiful melodies, and the warm summer breeze.

Our lecture series with Rutgers Cooperative Extension of  Hunterdon County continued and their Master Gardeners shared valuable insights on gardening, wildlife, and other essential topics. Meanwhile, little hands also prepped for the gardening season by painting seed teapots for Mother's Day!

Crafters also had a lovely month in May at the library. Brave creatives experimented with resin to make ocean themed treasures to take home at NE Branch. Meanwhile, our floral watercolor session bloomed with artistic flair! Patrons immersed themselves in the world of watercolor painting, capturing the delicate beauty of flowers on bookmarks and cards.

Our book clubs continue to be a literary haven for avid readers! Engaging discussions, thought-provoking debates, and shared love for stories made these gatherings truly memorable for all ages across the branches. Join us next time to dive into captivating reads and meet local readers.

We're thrilled to see our library buzzing with such a diverse range of events. Stay tuned for more exciting activities, knowledge-sharing, and creative adventures that await you in the upcoming months! Follow along with us on Facebook and Instagram to see the latest events, newest services, and everything else your local library is doing in your community.
