Reading Buddies Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 to 6 pm Reading Buddies is a literacy-based program for struggling readers in grades 1-4. It helps to foster a positive relationship with books in a supportive, no pressure environment. Together mentors and buddies meet 1 on 1 for 1/2 hour each week and talk, find books together and practice reading. Contact the library to book an appointment.

WESTERN ELGIN LIBRARY TOUR "BRANCH OUT" Friday, October 21st, 10:30 am to 3:30pm Tour 3 unique library branches in West Elgin. Your tour starts at the Rodney Library with emphasis on fun library technology, then drive over to West Lorne Library and enjoy a delicious lunch, music and a presentation of library services . The tour will end at the John Kenneth Galbraith Reference Library/Dutton Branch with a delightful seasonal craft making session. This event is FREE but registration is required by contacting the West Lorne Library at 519-768-1150 or email westlornelib@elgin.ca Don't delay, call today!
