Evening with the Stars Friday, June 22, 8:00pm-11:00pm The Calgary Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will be bringing the stars and more to Strathmore. Join us for an informative presentation of the wonders of the night sky followed by telescope viewing of Venus, the Moon, and Jupiter (weather permitting).
Travel through space and explore the stars with the indoor planetarium. This program is suitable for all ages, free to attend, and requires no registration. Please note: people with limited mobility may not be able to access the indoor planetarium.

On July 1, 2018, Marigold Library System will be switching from Auto Repair Reference Centre too AutoMate. This change is a result of the vendor no longing providing Auto Repair Reference Center. AutoMate is more comprehensive and is just as easy to use as Auto Repair Reference Center. AutoMate is powered by MOTOR, the leading provider of automotive data (a division of Hearst Business Media). This resource's content comes from the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and covers all major manufactures of domestic and imported vehicles. AutoMate includes high-quality component location diagrams as published by the OEM. However, the best feature is that AutoMate includes over 1,700 year and make combinations! Act the Week Returns this Summer!

The Strathmore Municipal Library is pleased to welcome back Charlie Ziehr for the 3rd Annual Act the Week theatre program! Act the Week is a theatre program designed for children ages 7-11. Each session will consist of games, drama, exercises, and preparation for a live show at the end of the week. The program will run from August 20-24 from 1:00pm-3:30pm . Family and friends are invited to attend the final performance on Friday, August 24. Registration will run from July 9-August 10. Please stop by the library to fill out a registration form. This program is free to attend and limited to 10 participants.
