Gail Ann Bourgeois The library welcomes back Strathmore artist Gail Ann Bourgeois. This month's exhibit is special as it also contains works from many of Gail Ann's artistic family members! About the Artist Gail Ann grew up in an artistic family surrounded by people who instilled in her a great appreciation for her natural surroundings. She has that inherent need to express herself through art. Having embarked on her artistic journey by exploring many crafts and art forms, she eventually began teaching groups and individuals along the way. She finally took up the brush and oils about thirty years ago and hasn’t been able to put them down since. She has been commissioned to do numerous scenes of people’s favourite memories, ie vacation spots, hometown scenes, as well as pet portraits. She works mainly with oils and acrylics, but has also produced many works in watercolour and mixed media...always exploring, always experimenting.
