New Booker's Buzz and Website! Welcome to the new Booker's Buzz eNewsletter! On April 24, we launched our new interactive website. Our goal with the new website is provide our visitors an easier way to learn about the Strathmore Municipal Library and browse the numerous exciting programs we offer. Food for Fines Returns!The library is pleased to announce the return of Food for Fines from May 1-31. Here is your chance to pay your fines and help families in need. For every non-perishable food item or personal hygiene item you bring to the library in May, we will waive $2.00 of your overdue fines. Please note that the Food for Fines program may only be used for overdue fines and cannot be used for lost items, service fees, or credit toward future overdue fines. Additionally, the library will be collecting cash donations for the food bank as well. All items collected will go to support the Wheatland County Food Bank.

Plant & Seed ExchangeDon't want to spend a bunch of money on new flowers, fruits, veggies, and herbs? Then stop by the library for our annual plant and seed exchange. Here is a chance for you to meet up with local gardeners and trade for something a little new. All indoor and outdoor plants are welcome.

More to Explore! May is stacked with many great events for all ages! For kids, we have Friday Fun Film on May 10 and Get Your Game On on May 17. For adults, we have several educational sessions from Nutrition & Mental Health, ADHD awareness, Unschooling, and how to beat the summer slide. We end the month with our exciting Paint Pouring Class Fundraiser on Friday, May 31! Check out all our exciting programs in our new printable calendar on our website!
