Please allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newly appointed Director of Library Services at Strathmore Municipal Library. I started working in this position on April 19, 2022, and I'm delighted by the warm welcome and support from the Board and staff. I'm confident that collectively we can deliver high quality programs and advocate for library services in Strathmore. I have also had the opportunity to meet with a few stakeholders and partners in town and the Library will continue to partner with them to be a leading hub for information access in Strathmore.

Submitted by: Bow Valley College - Strathmore We would like to thank the Strathmore Municipal Library for including us in this newsletter. There is some confusion around Bow Valley College’s operation in town. Let us clarify that for you. We are currently located in the Strathmore Centre across the street from the provincial courthouse and are open to support our learners and respond to program inquiries. Although we are scheduled to close this location at the end of June, we will continue to provide service to our learners and to individuals who are interested in our programming. The goal of Regional Stewardship is to provide access to education in the areas surrounding Calgary. We plan to have staff available in the community to meet with prospective learners and provide support to existing learners.
