Bring your lawn chairs as presentation will be held on the library's back lawn. Weather permitting. Colin Weir, Founder of the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre from Coaldale will provide a half hour presentation accompanied by 5 live birds of prey. Operating since 1983, the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre is Alberta’s first, volunteer non-profit facility that rescues and releases injured hawks, falcons, eagles and owls. The volunteer driven, donor sponsored centre receives no government operating subsidies, so donations are always especially welcome and needed. Charitable tax receipts can be provided on request.
