Yellow star by Jennifer RoyFrom 1939, when Syvia is four and a half years old, to 1945 when she has just turned ten, a Jewish girl and her family struggle to survive in Poland's Lodz ghetto during the Nazi occupation. - Publisher This is another good book about the holocaust, and would be particularly good to read after having some basic knowledge of the events of the time. This is based on someone in Jennifer Roy's family who was one of a very few children to come out of this ghetto alive at the end of the war. - Melody Ages 10+ WWII history, biography
