"Balancing Screentime" blog article from thisishappystuff.comGuilt is not something we want parents to feel when making screentime choices. This blog post by Carissa Christner provides an interactive model to help kids and caregivers balance their tech use by creating a game with different daily activities. She came up with a system we LOVE for her 4-year-old using " Balance Circles" that help her child create a healthy balance of daily activities. She also provides great printables to help along the way. Reviewed by Leigh

TumbleBooks can be found on ppld.org under PPLD Kids. Using a PPLD library card number and PIN, a large Tumble library of animated ebooks for children can be accessed on PC or mobile device. Perfect for a child who needs a change in their reading routine, these animated books offer storytelling or, if preferred, reading practice. Besides animated books, there are many chapter books, graphic novels, and non-fiction that can be read online. Favorites and playlists can be generated and saved for continuous use on TumbleBooks or even MyCloud! Reviewed by Betty
