Stephen F. Austin – An expert in the use of both ear and teleprompter, Steve has Emceeʼd for hundreds of live military and civilian events and is a professional voiceover talent for TV commercials, industrial videos, US Olympic Training Center videos and satellite training videos for private sector companies. This month Studio 21c is proud to have Steve Austin offer his time, energy, and talent to teach The Basics of Voiceover.
Voiceovers or "voice acting" can be defined as the dramatic art of acting in commercials, audio books, narrations, video gaming, and cartoons using only your voice. The Basics of Voiceover class will focus on vocal warm-ups, scripts, script breakdown, vocal pitch, variation, phrasing, speed and volume, proper pronunciation, word emphasis, importance of rehearsing, how and where to get a demo reel produced and, important books to read about voiceovers. (Due to class size and time limitation some of the listed topics may need to be shortened or omitted from the course).

After Effects for Beginners
Adobe After Effects is a motion graphics, animation, and digital visual effects software used in the post-production process of film and video production. Among other things, After Effects can be used for keying, tracking, compositing and 3D.
After Effects for Beginners will cover some of the basics needed to comfortably navigate through and create motion graphics, animation, and special effects for your video project. We will have video samples to play with and try to produce a stunning video sequence from everyday video clips.
