We are excited to introduce PPLD’s NEW Summer Adventure for Ages 0 - 18! We designed a summer program that engages participants with activities that promote lifelong learning and combat summer reading loss, using Beanstack, an online program that awards virtual badges for completing challenges. Register at ppld.beanstack.org beginning May 1. The adventure begins June 1. Have a summer of fun; explore, learn, and don't forget to write it all down for school time! - Melody

5550 N Union Blvd Colorado Springs, CO Please make sure to register for this exciting event! This month is the 3rd Annual Homeschool Egg Drop Contest! At home, create a package/container (made out of almost any material), in which a raw egg will be placed to protect it from damage when dropped from the balcony of East Library. This contest if for fun, but also allows students to explore the physics involved in doing the experiment, while also providing an exercise in creative and lateral thinking, and problem-solving. This is a family program so parents are expected to accompany their students.
