Common Sense Media Common Sense Media is a nonprofit organization that independently reviews apps, movies, books, games, websites,TV shows, and music. It rates material on age appropriate and guidelines based on developmental criteria. The reviews are submitted by parents and children and graded according to a “content grid” including positive messages/role models, violence, profanity, consumerism and other content. Common Sense Media is a useful tool in deciding what resources fit your family's needs.
