Teen and Tweens Learn to Sew: Stockings! December 7, 4 - 6 p.m. In this learn to sew event, we'll create stockings with a fleece cuff. Already have a stocking? Make one for your pet or a friend! Ages 9-18 . Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and can be done at www.ppld.org.

Bonus Open Hours for Holiday Gift-Making December 10, 1 - 5 p.m.
Running behind on your holiday DIYs? MAKE @ East to the rescue! Join us during this BONUS Open Hours session to work on last minute projects. Please note, equipment is available on a first-come basis, but depending upon demand there may be a 30-minute time limit for machine use.
All patrons in the space must be at least 9 years old. Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. Parent/guardian supervision is welcome for all minors over age 12.

Family Focused Fun: Winter Holidays Edition December 12, 10 - 10:30 a.m. December 12, 10:45 - 11:15 a.m. December 12, 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Join us in MAKE @ East for a special winter activity sampler! See the laser cutter in action, hand-stitch felt ornaments, and create a one-of-a-kind card. Also be sure to visit the Educational Resource Center (ERC) for additional winter activities!

Decoupage December 16, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Join us to transform a small, plain paper box into an artistic treasure with paper napkins using a layered decoupage technique. Ages 12 and up. Registration is required and can be done at www.ppld.org.

Teen and Tweens MAKE @ East: Mug Meals! December 28, 4:30-6 p.m. Every fourth Thursday of each month, we will MAKE something in the East Makerspace!
This month we'll be making Mug Meals! Ages 9-18 . Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and can be done at www.ppld.org.

Knit One & Crochet Too December 6, 1:30-3 p.m. Bring a project to work on, share ideas, and socialize with fellow knitters and crocheters! No registration is required.

Drop-in Watercolor Painting December 6 and 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Amateur artists are invited to MAKE @ East to experiment with watercolors (watercolor paints, watercolor crayons, and watercolor pencils!) at this fun and informal drop-in program. We’ll supply the brushes, paint, and paper; just bring yourself and a friend! Ages 9 and up. Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.

Library Explorers Make December 19, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Registration is required for this program and can be done by calling Delaina at 719-531-6333 x1371.

MAKE @ East Open Hours Mondays 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays 1-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays 6-9 p.m. Thursdays 6-9 p.m. Fridays 12-5 p.m. Saturdays 10 a.m.-1 p.m. During Open Hours, MAKE @ East is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis. Ages 9 and up. Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult.
