Photography For Creatives Portrait Class Come join us in Studio 21c for a study in Portrait Photography. We will have various models, backdrops and lights set up for you to experiment with in order to hone in on your portrait skills. Whether a beginner or a professional, the Portrait class will be a fun and educational course for all. You will need to provide your own camera for this course. Class will be in Studio 21c. Studio 21c Orientation Interested in using Studio 21c for your own personal or business related project? Whether you're creating your first masterpiece or are a seasoned professional, Studio 21c offers the tools to produce original content for television, radio, and the web. The Studio 21c Orientation course guides patrons through studio policies, safety, and procedures while serving as the first step toward the certification necessary to use the facility independently.
This course is required training to use Studio 21c or for equipment checkout. Attendees under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. Click on a date below to register: Studio Camera and Lighting Highly recommended for those unfamiliar with studio production work, this class offers a basic introduction to working with studio cameras, lights, tripods, and audio equipment. Class is normally 2-3 hours in length. It is recommended that you take the Studio 21c orientation class as well. This will allow you to reserve the studio and check out equipment as needed. Click on a date below to register: Join us in Studio 21c for a hands-on introduction to the world of podcasting. We'll cover the basics of microphones and audio recorders, setting up a space, editing what you've captured, and finding a place to publish your finished show.
It is recommended that you take the Studio 21c orientation class as well. This will allow you to reserve the studio and check out audio equipment needed for podcasting. Click on a date below to register: Peak Film Forum Peak Film Forum connects filmmakers, actors, writers, and other film production and video crew members in a creative networking environment. This community group meets the second Wednesday of each month in the Venue @ 21c at 6 p.m. Peak Film Forum offers the opportunity to meet others in the Colorado Springs area working or interested in the filmmaking process. Come network, get constructive feedback on scripts and scenes, and enjoy discussions with experts on specialized topics such as makeup, wardrobe, crowd funding, casting, marketing, and more. All are welcome!

9 - 11 a.m. w Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 - 3 p.m. w Wednesdays and Fridays 5 - 7 p.m. w Mondays and Wednesdays Studio information hours are a great time to talk to a staff member about your project, see the studio in action, or to show the space to your family and friends. Outside of information hours, staff members are available by appointment. Please email studio@ppld.org to schedule your visit.
