The two of us have lived in Colorado Springs our entire lives. We have been making costumes and props for over 15 years. We have learned many different skills over time and are very glad to share our knowledge. We have a wide range of skills including sewing, fabrication, 3d design, and much more. We are instructors at the Pikes Peak Maker Space where we teach resin casting, silicon modling, and vac-forming.

Friday, December 1, 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. *All studio hours happen at Library 21c Creating Silicon Molds In this class we will show you the basics of how to create a silicon mold. Provide you with tips and techniques for getting a successful mold. Your mold can be used to create replicas of an item using plastic resins and other materials. During class time we will show a single part mold and during studio time we will discus 2 part molds. All Maker in Residence programs require registration and are for patrons 12 years of age and older. Ages 12 to 16 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. No experience is necessary. Saturday, December 2, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Library 21c The Maker in Residence program aims to provide skilled artists a space to share their skills. During studio hours, the public can drop in and learn more about what they do and how to get started in their area of skill.

Tuesdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesdays 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Thursdays 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturdays 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. All patrons in the space must be at least 9 years old. 9-11 years old must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. Happening Just this Month

This class will teach students how to create a beautiful stained glass treasure using a lead encasement technique. This is an introductory course, covering areas of pattern development, glass cutting, glass shaping, encasement techniques, soldering, cleaning, and care of stained glass. Students will be provided with the basic essentials needed to complete each project to include tools, equipment, glass and safety glasses. Ages 18 and up. Registration is required. This program involves working with potentially hazardous chemicals and materials. If you are pregnant or nursing, please do not attend. Closed-toed shoes and long pants MUST be worn by attendees. Registered attendees without proper attire will not be allowed to participate.

Quilting Meet-Up1st sunday of every month Sunday, December 3, 1 - 3 p.m. Come join this social group to work on quilts, talk about quilts, and share what quilts you have been working on. This is a drop in club intended to gather together beginning and advanced quilters in a social setting. registration is not required. A makerspace use agreement needs to be on file.
