The Center for Public Media is one year old! Hundreds of patrons have utilized the studio to create a podcast, record their band, shoot a promotional video, assemble a voiceover reel, produce an audition tape, learn basic audio and video skills, and so much more. Thank you for your support!

Studio Orientation
Interested in using Library 21c’s flagship C³ Center for Public Media for your own project? Whether you’re creating your first masterpiece or are a seasoned professional, Library 21c's studio offers the tools to produce original content for television, radio, and the web.
The Studio Orientation course guides patrons through studio policies and procedures while serving as the first step toward the certification necessary to use the facility independently.
This course is required training to use the C³ Center for Public Media. Attendees under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. Click on a date below to register.
A basic introduction to studio camera and lighting. Completion of this course provides certification to utilize in-studio cameras and lights, as well as to check out video equipment. Prerequisite: Studio 101 Orientation course. Additional courses may be required to check out equipment.
9 - 11 a.m. – Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 - 3 p.m. – Wednesdays and Fridays 5 - 7 p.m. – Mondays and Wednesdays
Open Studio Hours are a great time to talk to a staff member about your project, see the studio in action, or to show the space to your family and friends. Outside of Open Hours, staff are available by appointment. Please email studio@ppld.org to schedule your visit.
