Wrecking Ball Engineering In this hands-on program, homeschoolers will change the direction and strength of a wrecking ball’s push to solve a problem—How can they knock down a wall of cups without knocking down the paper houses behind them. They’ll use both structural and demolition engineering principles in this challenge. For ages 5-12. Registration is required for all sessions.

Ute Knowledge STEM Challenges Homeschoolers investigate how the Ute Indians used science, technology, engineering, and math to survive and thrive in the Rocky Mountains. Students will explore hand-on challenges to understand how Ute people solved problems in the past and the present. Recommended for ages 6 to 12. Registration is required.

Bees, Bats, and Butterflies (OH MY!) Pollinators, a vital part of our eco-system, are in trouble! In this program, homeschoolers will use cheese puffs and model flowers to learn about pollination, explore the lives of pollinators (including bees, bats, birds, butterflies, and lizards), and participate in conservation efforts by creating bee hotels and seed bombs to take home! Spring Homeschool Art Show at East LibraryIt's time to get creative! Homeschoolers can submit one artwork (drawing, painting, sculpture, textile, etc.) during late March (3/22-3/30) for this non-juried exhibit.
