Listen Up! June is Audiobook Month! Did you know that the Cora J. Belden Library has a large collection of Fiction, Nonfiction and Kids audiobooks, available in our building AND electronically through OverDrive, RBDigital and Hoopla? Audiobooks help kids develop their imagination, introduce them to books above their current reading level, help them learn new vocabulary, history or geography, and improve their listening and pronunciation skills. And it makes a long car trip go by fast! For adults, audiobooks are great for commuting, walking, doing chores and much more. In addition to the library's vast collection of audiobooks, teens have the additional advantage of being able to access free audiobooks via SYNC - a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+. SYNC gives away two complete audiobook downloads a week all summer long.
