Have you ever heard of the Framers of the Constitution? What about the Signers? Do you know who the Founding Fathers are? Well, when we talk about the Framers of the Constitution, we are talking about the 55 people who were delegates to the Constitutional Convention in 1787, who helped with drafting the US Constitution. Of those 55 people, only 39 became Signers of the Constitution. Meaning, they were the only ones to put their signature on the Constitution. All of those people can be considered Founding Fathers since they were integral in the founding of the United States. However, when we mention the Founding Fathers today, we are usually only referring to a few people. These few people are the most well-known and the most influential of the Founding Fathers, and you may know some of them! See how many of these you know!
