PTSD
by Guillaume Singelin
From the publisher: "After returning home from an unpopular war, Jun becomes an outsider in an indifferent world. Alone, desperate, and suffering from wounds both mental and physical, she seeks relief in the illicit drugs she manages to purchase or steal. Jun’s tough exterior served her well in combat, but she’ll need to nurture her vulnerability and humanity to survive at home. With the support of her fellow vets, the kindness of a stranger who refuses to turn away, and the companionship of a dog named Red, Jun learns to navigate the psychological trauma that she experienced in the war."

MacDoodle St.
by Mark Alan Stamaty
From the publisher: "Every week, from 1978 to 1980 [...] Stamaty's creation encompassed a dizzying array of characters, stories, jokes, and digressions. One week might feature the ongoing battle between irate businessmen and bearded beatniks for control of a Greenwich Village coffee shop, the next might reveal a dastardly plot involving a genetically engineered dishwashing monkey, or the frustrated dreams of an irascible, over-caffeinated painter, or the mysterious visions of a duffle-coated soothsayer on the bus. Not to mention the variable moods and longings of the comic strip itself.... "

Gasolina Vol. 2: Fiesta
by Sean Mackiewicz
From the publisher: "Fugitives. Rebels. Newlyweds. In their journey south from El Norte, Amalia and Randy have played many roles in order to survive. Now, they must become unlikely leaders in the fight against a new cartel, who uses inhuman tactics to ignite the most monstrous war Mexico—and the world—has ever seen. [In this volume] Randy and Amalia have struck the first blow against the supernatural cartel Los Queridos. As the couple arms themselves for war against monsters, they must also deal with becoming parents of a child with a very unique condition: he has a flesh-eating creature living in his chest."

Blackwax Boulevard
by Dmitri Jackson
From the publisher: "Blackwax Boulevard is the weirdest, grimiest, most obscure record store in all comics. Thus, by hipster-definition, also the coolest! This anthology collects the first five years of the Glyph-nominated webcomic that follows nerds, metalheads, manic pixies, bohos, hobos and every music lover in between as they explore life, pop culture and the eternally dusty record bin. Anything goes when the needle drops at Blackwax!"

God and Science: Return of the Ti-Girls
by Jaime Hernandez
From the publisher: "Originally serialized in Love and Rockets: New Stories 1 & 2, [this volume is] a rollickingly creative super-hero joyride (featuring three separate super-teams and over two dozen characters) that ranged from the other side of the universe to Maggie's shabby apartment, and a genuinely dramatic fable about madness, grief, and motherhood as Penny Century's decades-long quest to become a genuine super-heroine are finally, and tragically, fulfilled."

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Volume III: Century
by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill
From the publisher: "From the occult parlours and crime-haunted wharfs of 1910, through the criminal, mystical, and psychedelic underworlds of 1969 to the financially and culturally desolated streets of 2009, the disintegrating remnants of Miss Murray and her League must combat not only the hidden hand of their undying adversary, but also the ethical and psychological collapse accompanying this new era. And a lot of things can happen in a CENTURY!"

|
Black Panther & The Crew: We Are the Streets
by Ta-Nehisi Coates and friends
From the publisher: "Black Panther, Storm, Luke Cage, Misty Knight and Manifold band together to take on a dangerous wave of street-level threats in a new series by co-writers Ta-Nehisi Coates (New York Times best-selling author of Between the World and Me and Marvel's Black Panther) and Yona Harvey (Black Panther: World of Wakanda), and legendary artist Butch Guice! The death of a Harlem activist kicks off a mystery that will reveal surprising new secrets about the Marvel Universe's past - and set the stage for a huge story in the near future! Fear, hate and violence loom, but don't worry, The Crew's got this: They are the streets."
