Summer Reading Starts SoonDCL's 2016 Summer Reading program is right around the corner. Join us on Saturday, June 11 for the kickoff celebration from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Northgate Mall. Enjoy performers, games, face painting, music and a whole lot more. While Summer Reading doesn't start until the 11th, pre-registration is open now. Earn points all summer to earn fun prizes. MakerLab @ Main Grand Opening Durham County Library will celebrate the grand opening of the MakerLab @ Main on Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Main Library. The MakerLab is a hybrid, creative space — think art studio meets technology meets community learning lab.
