2015 Spring Edition
|
Dear Teachers, As the school year is winding down, the Library is ramping up for our annual summer reading club. The 2015 theme is Every Hero has a Story, and the program offers children, teens, and adults a variety of fun incentives for reading and the chance to participate in a range of educational programming. We all know how important it is for children to keep learning and reading over the summer—those who don’t can fall as much as three months behind their peers, and that gap can be cumulative year after year. Encourage your students to sign up for the 2015 Summer Reading Club at the Library! |

They can earn entry into the drawing by reading for 10 hours over the course of the summer. Your students should have already received an informational bookmark offering them early registration for the program—May 1. They can sign up online and then bring their registration confirmation into the Library to receive all of the information they need.
