Lynda.com Becoming LinkedIn Learning

Smyrna Library has decided not to renew Lynda.com when it transitions into LinkedIn Learning in 2020. Patrons will have access to Smyrna Library's Lynda.com subscription through December 31, then the site will sunset. Library users may still access LinkedIn Learning with their Cobb County Public Library accounts.
Volunteer Spotlight
Carol Summers

Carol moved to Smyrna in 1995 and has been a library patron ever since. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Kennesaw State University. The majority of her career has been in banking. She worked for BankSouth, Nations Bank and Bank of America for 15 years. A Friend of Smyrna Library, Carol has been a book sale volunteer, a part-time library employee and a Technical Services volunteer. Carol contributed 100 hours in volunteer hours this past year. She reads many different genres, and has never met a thriller she doesn’t like. Her friends say she makes great meatballs.
