Cents for Simpson Help the Simpson Public Library collect ONE MILLION CENTS! Bring your loose change to the library to help fund the many programs that benefit our community. Or drop your change in one of the donation cans found in more than 20 Mechanicsburg merchants.

Schedule ChangesSchedule changes affect several programs this month, so be sure to check our Events Calendar for changes. Also, please note that we close at 1:00 pm on December 31; we will be closed December 24 and 25 and January 1.

AdultsBe sure to check the calendar for program changes, especially for the last two weeks of the month.

ChildrenMost children's program are meeting as usual in December, except there is no LEGO club this month.

Tweens & TeensTween Scene, Teen Game Night, After Hours D&D, and the knitting class are all meeting as usual.

Don your favorite ugly sweater and brush up on all things Christmas: movies, carols, TV shows, holiday traditions, and other delightful trivia treats for a holly, jolly evening of fun.

Saturday, January 18, 6:00 to 8:00 pm If you remember Tamagotchi, Y2K, Beanie Babies, and the “Macarena," you need to try your skills at this BYOB Trivia event!

We supply cups, bottle openers, snacks, and prizes. You bring your beverage of choice and your knowledge. These programs are for adults, ages 21 and older. Registration is required. Please register online. You may also register by calling us at 717-766-0171, or email us at simpson@cumberlandcountylibraries.org.

All adults are invited to join any (or all!) of the book clubs that meet at the library. No registration is required, and new members are welcome!

The Friends of the Simpson Library support the library with fundraising activities, community activities, library programs, and advocacy for quality library service.

A Community Aid bin is located in the Simpson Public Library parking lot. The library earns 4 cents per pound on clothing and shoes collected. Drop off your unneeded items and help a neighbor today.
|
Bags for Books: For each reusable bag used by shoppers, Karns will donate 3 cents to local public libraries. Bring your reusable bags every time you shop at Karns and help support Simpson Library.

If you shop at Amazon, use AmazonSmile, select Joseph T. Simpson Public Library, and 0.5% of your eligible purchase prices will be donated to Simpson Library.
