We are in the process of making some improvements to our parking lot which should be completed in the next few weeks. The parking lot will become one-way in and one-way out. Two exits are being added at the end of the parking lot from which all traffic will exit the library parking lot. You will continue to enter the library parking lot the same as you do now. Once the renovations are completed, you will exit from the far end of the parking lot near the fire hydrant and the Community Aid bin. You will turn left and proceed to a stop sign that will be installed at the intersection of Allen Street. Turn left onto Allen Street and proceed to the intersection at Walnut Street or turn right down the alley at Mechanicsburg Eye Associates. Portions of the parking lot will be blocked off at times during the renovations. Sue Erdman, Executive Director 717-766-0171

Do you or a senior you know need a little "brain workout?" We are starting a new program for seniors to gather round a table and play fun, slightly challenging word games on the first and third Mondays of the month. These games are meant to nudge that memory capacity to remember names, fill in blanks, complete word searches, and so forth. This program will be facilitated by Rena McDonald, a senior herself, who has been running a program like this at another library before her recent move to this area. Registration is not required. Just bring yourself or your favorite senior and enjoy an hour of challenge and possible giggles along the way.
