Simply Simpson, June 2020
Welcome Back!
Yes, our doors remain closed to the public (for now),
but we are offering contactless holds pickup!

Starting June 1, you will be able to pick up your holds at Simpson Library! You may put items on hold now and schedule a time for pickup after you receive notification that they are ready. You may then pick them up in our vestibule.

Plus, we are here! Email us at simpson@cumberlandcountylibraries.org if you need to renew your card or have other questions. Visit our website for more information, or give us a call us at 717-766-0171. Staff is in the library Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Stay tuned for information about a reopening date, hopefully later in June.

All of the material you've been able to access from home is still available. Visit our Collections and Services page for more information.

Summer Learning Program

Children

Teens

Adults

Readers of all ages can participate in our 2020 Summer Learning Challenge. Things are a little different this year, and the preschool and school-age children's programs will be virtual, but we are still excited about the 2020 Summer Learning Program.

Registration is now open! Register or update your information in Beanstack, and then track your progress online with Beanstack between June 7 and August 1. Children will track reading and do activities to earn prizes, teens will track reading and do activities for raffle tickets to win one of nine prizes, and adults will track books for chances to win a weekly drawing for gift cards to local businesses as well as the grand prize of a Kindle Fire. Click on the applicable link for more info about each program. Also see the Summer Learning Program Guide.
