Any Time on August 8 Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and our desire to keep our community safe, the Run for Reading event has gone virtual this year! We hope you are able to participate in our virtual run/walk. Register online, or pick up a paper application at Simpson Library. |
The program will be held via Zoom with instructor Jack Scott. If you've attended in the past, Jack will be sending you the Zoom login information. If you are not familiar with this group and want to check it out, please email Joelene Diana at jdiana@ccpa.net. |

Request Your Topic — We'll Do the Rest!Book bundles are a group of five books chosen by our children's librarians. It's a fast and easy way to put books on hold. We have a wide variety of topics for kids of all ages. Just fill out the electronic order form and we'll notify you when your books are ready to pick up. |
Mah jongg welcomes beginners every Thursday in August. If you've always wanted to learn how to play, now's the time. Registration is required. Tea and Stitches and our book clubs continue to meet via Zoom. Please email Joelene Diana at jdiana@ccpa.net for more information. |

Did You Know? The Joseph T. Simpson Public Library collects eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses for the Mechanicsburg Lions Club. The Lions then refurbish, repair, and refit glasses for people in need both locally and globally. Bring your old glasses with you on your next trip to the library and deposit them in the Lions Club container in our lobby. |
