Wednesday, July 10, 7:00 pm Nourishment comes not just from what we eat but how we eat. Registered dietitian Courtney Hager will teach techniques to begin mindful eating, a practice which involves bringing awareness to the eating experience.

Wednesday, July 17, 6:30 pm Realtors Jan Wheeler and Jerry Blake and Mortgage Lender Angie Stipe will present basic information about buying or selling a house, especially concerning how to "right size" our living quarters.

Saturday, July 20, 6:00 – 8:00 pm Bring your beverage of choice and your knowledge about TV shows from the 60s, 70s, and 80s! This event is hosted by Cheaters Never Prosper. This program is for adults, ages 21 and older. Registration is required. Register at the library or by calling us at 717-766-0171.

Simpson Library has three AWE Early Literacy Stations! These unique computers are designed for our youngest patrons ages 2 to 8 and feature over 4,000 localized learning activities.

Upcoming Library Closings July 4 Independence Day Summer Hours Please note: We are closed on Sundays in July and August, and our Saturday hours are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Regular weekend hours resume September 7 and 8.

The Friends of the Simpson Library support the library with fundraising activities, community activities, library programs, and advocacy for quality library service.

A Community Aid bin is located in the Simpson Public Library parking lot. The library earns 4 cents per pound on clothing and shoes collected. Drop off your unneeded items and help a neighbor today.
|
Bags for Books: For each reusable bag used by shoppers, Karns will donate 3 cents to local public libraries. Bring your reusable bags every time you shop at Karns and help support Simpson Library.

If you shop at Amazon, use AmazonSmile, select Joseph T. Simpson Public Library, and 0.5% of your eligible purchase prices will be donated to Simpson Library.
