We are thrilled to announce online registration! To register for a program or event, go to our website and click on "Events." Find the date for the activity you would like to attend. Click on that program or event and you will be directed to the applicable page, where you will see a description of the event and a link to online registration. Registration generally opens one month before most programs or events are held.

Wednesday, January 8, 7:00 pm Dennis Baker, President of the West Shore Photography Club, will offer specific tips and techniques for iPhone photography -- learn how to use your phone camera to take pictures that you previously thought were only possible with a professional-level camera. The program is free, but registration is required! Register online.

Wednesday, January 15, 7:00 pm Karen Schwarzbauer of the Penn-Cumberland Garden Club and the Hobby Greenhouse Association will offer tips on reading our plants to know what they need to stay alive and she will also demonstrate how to propagate houseplants and provide a handout of informational resources.The program is free, but registration is required! Register online.

Enjoy lunch or dinner with your family and friends, and up to 25% of the cost of your meal will go directly to the Friends of Simpson Library. Pick up a flyer or download one now and give to your server when you pay for your meal.

Wouldn't your stuffed animal love a sleepover at the library? Bring a stuffed animal to the library on Friday, February, 7 at 1:00 pm and then return on Saturday, February 8, at 1:00 to pick it up and see what mischief it was up to overnight! Register by February 4.

Tweens & TeensTween Scene now meets on the second Tuesday of the month. January offers teens a chance to learn about robotics. And D&D is moving back to Simpson Library.

Saturday, January 18, 6:00 to 8:00 pm If you remember Tamagotchi, Y2K, Beanie Babies, and the “Macarena," you need to try your skills at this BYOB Trivia event!

We supply cups, bottle openers, snacks, and prizes. You bring your beverage of choice and your knowledge. This programs are for adults, ages 21 and older. Registration is required.

Rhyme Time, Toddler Time, and Story Time are presented several times a week throughout the year, and Family Story Time is presented every Monday at 6:30 pm. Registration is not required; join us when you can. Visit our Children's Services page to view the current schedule.

All adults are invited to join any (or all!) of the book clubs that meet at the library. No registration is required, and new members are welcome!

Recycle Toner Cartridges Please consider donating your empty toner cartridges to Simpson! We will recycle them and receive credit at Staples for future purchases.

The Friends of the Simpson Library support the library with fundraising activities, community activities, library programs, and advocacy for quality library service.

A Community Aid bin is located in the Simpson Public Library parking lot. The library earns 4 cents per pound on clothing and shoes collected. Drop off your unneeded items and help a neighbor today.

Bags for Books: For each reusable bag used by shoppers, Karns will donate 3 cents to local public libraries. Bring your reusable bags every time you shop at Karns and help support Simpson Library.
