7:30 to 10:00 pm Enjoy a night out at the theatre watching Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg's performance of the comedy Moon Over Buffalo. This play will have you laughing, and your ticket purchase supports the Friends of the Simpson Library. Tickets are $15. Act soon -- only 64 seats are available!

Saturday, September 21, 6:00 – 8:00 pm Bring your beverage of choice and your knowledge about all things Harry Pottter! This event is hosted by Cheaters Never Prosper. This program is for adults, ages 21 and older. Registration is required. Register at the library or by calling us at 717-766-0171.

Did You Know?The Joseph T. Simpson Public Library has an eyeglass donation container in the library's lobby. The Mechanicsburg Lions Club empties the canister and refurbishes, repairs, and refits glasses for people in need both locally and globally. If you have old eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses that you no longer need, bring them in on your next trip to the library and deposit them in the Lions Club container.

Faxing Service Simpson Library offers faxing services (sending only) for a flat rate of $1 per page!

Upcoming Library Closings September 2 Labor Day Summer Hours Please note: We are closed on Sundays in August, and our Saturday hours are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Regular weekend hours resume September 7 and 8.

The Friends of the Simpson Library support the library with fundraising activities, community activities, library programs, and advocacy for quality library service.

A Community Aid bin is located in the Simpson Public Library parking lot. The library earns 4 cents per pound on clothing and shoes collected. Drop off your unneeded items and help a neighbor today.

Bags for Books: For each reusable bag used by shoppers, Karns will donate 3 cents to local public libraries. Bring your reusable bags every time you shop at Karns and help support Simpson Library.

If you shop at Amazon, use AmazonSmile, select Joseph T. Simpson Public Library, and 0.5% of your eligible purchase prices will be donated to Simpson Library.
