All Three Branches are OPEN to the Public We're so happy to see our patrons once again visiting our libraries! We resumed normal operating hours on June 8th. Read the District's COVID-19 Response Plan During Phase 4, anyone aged 2 years or older must be properly wearing a mask or face covering to enter the libraries. Due to the potential of cross contamination and for the health of our staff, any items returned to the library's drop boxes may not be checked in and removed from a patron's account for several days after the date they were returned. We will check in these items as soon as we can safely do do and of course, we will not be charging any fines in these situations. visit us 24/7 at

Summer Reading Challenge for Children Still Time to Join the Fun Our Program Runs Through July 31st The 2020 Summer Reading Challenge for Children started June 15th and runs through July 31st. While our Summer Reading Challenge will be a bit different this year, it's still going to be fun and stimulating. Children will be encouraged to read and track their time reading, but our prizes will be distributed only upon finishing. All prizes will be bagged -- and the final prize will be a sport bag filled with fun little surprises inside and a book, which staff will choose for each child.
There will be no hands-on activities in the Children's Departments through the end of summer.
Because the safety of our families and of our staff is our biggest concern, we are giving parents the option of either a no-touch or a low touch Summer Reading Challenge. When you register online at home or in the Library, you will be given the option of choosing either a no-touch or a low-touch option. No-touch will consist of ALL curbside services, including delivery of the log and 10 books per child based on their reading interests that we will check out before delivering them to your vehicle. Low-touch will take place in the Library with safety restrictions, social distancing, and face covering for everyone over two-years-old. If you are unsure which option you wish to choose, you can switch at any time. At registration, choose the one you will most probably start with. With either option, you can stop by the Library (curbside or in-house) as frequently as you like. We'll have 10 books ready for each child every time we have sufficient lead-time. And rest assured, all materials will be quarantined for at least 5 days before being shelved or chosen for you child. Visit our website page HERE for the online registration link. You can also register in the Library.
