10 am Pleasure Island Library Library phones are ringing off the hook with people looking for solar eclipse glasses! We don't have any to give away, and all the stores seem to be sold out, but kids age 4 and older can make their own pinhole projectors at this free event. If you find solar eclipse glasses in stock anywhere, please share the info with the Main Library Reference Desk, 910-798-6301. NASA recommends you check solar eclipse glasses for certification with a designated ISO 12312-2 international standard, as well as the manufacturer’s name and address, before buying.
