We house thousands of Audiobooks, in both physical and digital formats, and our OverDrive Collection is a shared online collection between Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jeff Davis, & Vernon parishes. (That means a bigger collection with more variety for YOU!)

This program will be fun and educational, as Mr. Griffin talks about Louisiana's favorite living dinosaur and how it impacts our state. Join us for information and discussion on the history of the Creole people of Louisiana and development of the Creole identity. The discussions will be lead by Dr. Delma Porter. This series is made available through Louisiana Endowment for the Arts. Although you are encouraged to attend all 3 sessions, it is not required. We will discuss Cane River by Lalita Tademy and Catherine Carmier by Ernest J. Gaines.
