Your library is here to help, even when we're closed.

Dear Library Friends,

Sending you love from everyone at the DFPL in this difficult time. We miss seeing you and we are working hard to find ways to keep you connected with the library and with our wonderful community! You'll find more information about our new programs and services below.

After careful consideration and, in keeping with mandates by NY State Government, we will be closed until further notice to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our patrons and our staff safe. We hope you will understand and we will continue to send out updates in the hopes of reopening as soon as possible.

Due dates on checked out physical materials will be extended until after we reopen. Please don’t worry about returning items to the book drop; keep all materials safely at home for now.

Unfortunately, with the new mandates, we will not be able to offer curbside pickup at this time. We will continue to hold your requested items and will get them to you as soon as possible.

Our online collections and resources are available 24/7 with your library card and we hope you will tune in for our virtual story time and craft programs and community group meetups starting this coming week.

We are here to help so please don't hesitate to call us at 845-424-3020 or email us with questions, any requests for help or information, or just to check in and say hello.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the library again soon. Please stay safe, be well, and keep in touch in the meantime!

Sincerely,

Jen McCreery
Library Director
