Do you have drawings, diary entries, collages, scrapbooks or other projects reflecting our experiences with the Covid 19 pandemic? We would like to collect these memories, scan them and create a published volume to place in the Saugerties Local History Room collection. Please send photos or files to adedolph@saugertiespubliclibrary.org. Or, if you are willing to drop them off, they can be scanned and returned.
Holiday in the Village
Sunday, December 6
The library will not be holding the Festival of Trees as usual this year. Instead we will have decorated trees and snowflakes in the windows for you to admire.
You can drop off your snowflake while the library is open or in the AV Drop to the right of the front door. We will have white copy paper available for you if you need it.
The library has 3 foot trees available to check out if you would like to decorate a tree this year. The trees will be first come, first serve. Please do not use your own tree. Check out a tree by November 20 and bring back your decorated tree by December 3. If you would like your decorations back, please make an appointment between December 14-18 to remove your decorations.
If you have any questions, contact Director Jennifer Russell at director@saugertiespubliclibrary.org or 845-246-4317 x300.
The library will be closed on Wednesday, November 11
in observance of Veteran's Day!
