Please accept our invitation to participate in the annual Festival of Trees, held in conjunction with Saugerties 2019 Holiday in the Village. You (and your organization / business / group / family) are encouraged to decorate and display a tree in a theme of your own choosing. Please see the enclosed sheet for details.
We are accepting trees in two categories: Adults/Organizations and Kids/Teens. Please indicate the category which best represents your tree on the form. Trees will be on display in the Community Room of the Library during our Open House on December 8, 2019 from 12 – 4 pm. Visitors will be asked to vote for their favorite tree in each of the categories, and the creators of the trees receiving the greatest number of votes will receive gift certificates to Lucky Chocolate. First place in each category will receive a $50 certificate; second place will receive a $25 certificate.
The Friends of the Saugerties Public Library has a limited number of trees available, should you wish to borrow one. These will be available on a “first-come” basis, and may be checked out at the Main Circulation desk in the Library. You are also welcome to create a tree of your own.
If you wish to participate, please complete the form and return it no later than November 27, 2019. Forms may be mailed or dropped off at the Library. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ray Rebholz at 631-922-0296 or rayrebholz@msn.com.
We look forward to seeing your creativity in December!
Sincerely yours,
Ray Rebholz
