The library's 100th Anniversary Year continues to build excitement for the coming months. We have so many great things coming. Here's a handful of events to get excited about: 1. The 2024 Community Read wraps up April 3 @ the Union branch of Scenic Regional Library. Matthew Algeo, author of "Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure," will give an author talk and book signing. 2. The annual Summer Read Kick-Off event will take place Friday, May 31st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is a family friendly event for kids to pickup their summer reading logs and enjoy a festive party in the library parking lot. We're making this one extra-special for our 100th anniversary year, so don't miss it. It's always a lot of fun and great way to say hello to a summer of great books. 3. Save the Date! The Missouri Book Festival is returning in 2024. The festival will take place over September 13 and 14, 2024 at the library and surrounding streets.
