Summer Reading 2023 The 2023 Summer Reading Program here. With a theme of "All Together Now," Rodman Public Library encourages all of its patrons -- young, mature, and everyone in between -- to take part in the program and earn chances to win some fun prizes .

Book Fest & Crafts Offered Weekly at Main Library During a six-week run of Thursdays between June 15 and July 20, Book Fest will be held at Rodman Public Library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and will feature a different presenter each week. Book Fest will be followed by crafts from 11 a.m. to noon. Children can stay for both activities, or attend only one and registration is not required.

Play BINGO at RPL This SummerRodman Public Library invites children to come play BINGO this summer. The free games will be held monthly inside the Rodman Main Auditorium and prizes will be awarded to the winners. The games will be held at 6 p.m. on the following dates: Monday, June 26 Monday, July 10 Monday, August 14 Registration is required to play BINGO at RPL and a separate registration is required for each session.

Book Club Meets April 19 Rodman Public Library invites children,
ages 8-12, to join the Kids Book Club, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo is the selected title for the June 21 meeting. Registration is required for each session, which includes a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack.

Kids Gaming Kids Gaming is held on the first Wednesday of each month at Rodman Public Library in the Main Library Auditorium. From 4 to 5 p.m., children, ages 8-12, are treated to open play of video games, Minecraft, etc. on devices provided by the library. The next session is Wednesday, June 7. Registration is not required for the free event. For information, contact the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 223.

Branch Take and Make Starting Thursday, June 1, children can stop by the Rodman Branch Library to pick up a Dr. Seuss kindness bracelet take and make project. All supplies for the craft are included as well as step-by-step instructions, thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library. Supplies are limited and will be given out at a first come, first served basis.

What’s That Snake? can help users identify Ohio snakes based on characteristics or by name. This resource also helps to dispel many snake related myths.
